Calendars. There’s quite a few in WordPress and the free ones look fairly terrible. The premium one that floats to the top is EventOn but after reading reviews it does seem a bit over the top for this purpose. Dated posts in an ‘event’ category may be a better solution (and free and easy) that can be picked up in multiple ways. I have shown a category page in the ‘events’ page and a category grid in ‘Shows’ and in the footer.

Below are EventOn and TeamUp. Eventon looks brilliant but I fear that it may be quite a job to manage it. ‘Feature rich’ is a double edged sword usually and can mean takes a month to learn it 🙁

TeamUp is easy to manage but does it look right in a website? Maybe in the calendar page it could work and a booking section could be duplicated there too.
